A picturesque 18-hole championship golf course showing off stunning lake views, the Cove offers a challenging course for avid golfers. With 72 bunkers, rolling hills and water coming into play on nine of the holes, this par-71 course is anything but tame. In typical RTJ fashion, the Cove is a target golf course putting an emphasis on getting the ball in play off of the tee.

Its classic design and breathtaking lakefront setting leave golfers wanting another shot at this legendary golf course.

A Few Helpful Tips from Our Golf Pro

A great “position” Par 5 due to crowned fairway especially in lay-up area. Try to place second shot 100-130 yards for best shot at green.

Our signature hole, playing over The Lake’s “Witch’s Cove”. Try not to daydream checking out the scenery with the task at hand - a long carry over water and sand to a deceiving putting surface. Many scores of bogey and above have been recorded here.

A “field goal” between the large cotton wood right and row of trees left will allow short to mid-iron to semi-blind green which narrows to the back.

Long, dog-leg left with fairway sloping same way. Keep drive to right side and favor half club more to the green.

A strong right-center tee shot avoids large overhanging trees on the left. A good drive leaves a short to mid iron for a chance at a closing birdie.

HOLE #10

Well placed tee shot left and short of fairway bunker leaves a short iron with a level lie to a slightly elevated green and birdie opportunity

HOLE #11

Another good birdie opportunity if tee shot “splits the uprights”. Good drive leaves short iron to a small and well protected green. This could be your last good opportunity at a birdie for a few holes.

HOLE #12

Most players go with a fairway wood or hybrid to lay up short and left of fairway bunkers for the best “look” at well-bunkered green. Approach plays half club short.
